About The Position
Sparta Networking is supporting a leading construction materials company in hiring an experienced Concrete Mixer Driver. This role is ideal for a dependable professional focused on safely transporting and delivering ready-mix concrete while maintaining quality, timing, and strong communication on job sites.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) required
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety and driving regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Flexibility to work early mornings, overtime, and weekends as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy vehicle preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites
- Monitor and maintain proper mixing, slump, and consistency during transport and delivery
- Safely maneuver and position the truck in tight or uneven jobsite conditions
- Communicate with dispatch, batch plant, and jobsite personnel to coordinate deliveries
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Clean and maintain the mixer truck to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations
