About The Position

Exegistics is hiring Concrete Laborers for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a precast concrete manufacturing facility located on the east side of Indianapolis. This is a full-time, year-round position in a hands-on production environment. The Concrete Laborer will assist with setting up forms, preparing materials, and pouring concrete. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment and working in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry 50–100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
• Must have steel-toed boots
• Ability to bend, stretch, and work over forms throughout the shift
• Must be comfortable working around large concrete materials and equipment
• Basic math skills required
• Must be able to read and use a tape measure effectively
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
• Some weekend work may be required

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical or maintenance background preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up forms for precast concrete production
• Help prepare and pour concrete into forms
• Place steel plates, assemblies, wire mesh, and other materials as needed
• Rake, trowel, and finish wet concrete
• Pull steel cable and assist with other production tasks
• Work around large concrete panels and heavy materials
• Use basic math and tape measure skills accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety policies and production procedures
