About The Position

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Concrete Laborer to join their safety-oriented team working on diverse construction projects. The role involves promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, following safety policies and regulations, and performing physical tasks such as shoveling, handling materials, and assisting with site duties. The Concrete Laborer will collaborate with managers and co-workers, contributing to a positive team environment and taking on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and “Fit for Work” physical.
Valid documentation for I-9 Immigration requirements.
Professional, courteous attitude toward colleagues and the public.
Reliable attendance and punctuality at designated job sites.
Willing to travel, work away from home, and adapt to varying schedules (including nights, weekends, and overtime).
Comfortable working outdoors in extreme temperatures.
Minimum age of 18 years due to safety-sensitive requirements.
Team player with a proactive approach to assisting others and taking on new challenges.
High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in construction or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Follow safety policies, and OSHA/MSHA regulations, using appropriate tools and equipment.
Perform physical tasks including stretching, bending, lifting, squatting, pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Shovel dirt, stone, and asphalt; handle materials, tools, and supplies to complete tasks efficiently.
Assist with traffic control, cleaning, equipment maintenance, and other site duties as needed.
Collaborate with managers and co-workers, actively contributing to a positive team environment.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, showing flexibility and initiative.
