This position involves various tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, preparing sites, digging, operating heavy machinery, and inspecting finished products. The role requires adherence to construction plans, maintaining quality standards, and fostering good working relationships with colleagues and supervisors. Safety is paramount, and employees are expected to follow all safety rules and regulations. The role also involves representing the company professionally and honestly.

Requirements

Some experience as a finish operator
Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
Knowledge of OSHA Standards
Dependable transportation
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
Committed to attending work each day
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and stack materials, equipment, and tools
Use small and medium hand/power tools to complete various tasks
Clean and prepare construction sites
Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill holes
Operate heavy machinery used to complete construction projects
Inspect finished products or components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
Maintain a high level of quality work at all times
Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks
Perform other duties as assigned
Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner
