About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction in Concrete Foundations at our Phoenix campus. As an adjunct faculty member, you will mentor students, helping them grow academically, spiritually, and personally, while preparing them for careers in IT and Engineering. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 5-7 years of concrete construction experience.
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with relevant work related experience.
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 3-5 years of concrete construction experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
