Requirements

3-5 years’ experience in the commercial and industrial setting
Ability to layout jobs from reading and interpreting blueprints
Basic math & geometry knowledge– area, elevation, pitch
Assemble engineered formwork systems
Install reinforcing steel per design
Concrete placement and finishing
Trenching & excavation – shoring, sloping, shielding and soil classification
Calculate & order material
Ability to work effectively with all personality types
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
Self-directed and can work independently
Valid driver’s license
Aerial lift and forklift experience required
Daily inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment

Nice To Haves

Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Laser level/theodolite/transit experience required
Overhead crane and mobile crane experience preferred
Front end loader, skid steer and excavator experience preferred
Chauffeurs or CDL-A license preferred

Responsibilities

Lead concrete projects effectively and efficiently
Allocate general and daily responsibilities to your team that you’ll be working with on daily projects
Train and develop your team
Understanding design layouts and blueprints
Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards including completing daily pre-task plans/risk assessments
Monitor, and report daily work progress through written summaries and job site tickets with pictures
