CEC is currently seeking a Concrete Finisher based in Clinton, Iowa and are excited to connect with candidates who are interested in growing with our team. While this is not an immediate-fill position, we are actively accepting resumes and will begin interviews once a qualified candidate pool has been established. The Concrete Finisher is responsible for ensuring a consistent and high-quality concrete pavement product for our customers. This type of work could include assisting with initial concrete set-up, monitoring string lines, material preparation, and general labor duties.

Requirements

At least 5 years experience working in concrete, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding specifications or tolerances on concrete projects (edge slump, vertical face, pavement thickness, profile requirements, etc.).
Ability to read and understand documents, write routine reports, and basic emails/correspondence.
Basic math skills, such as adding; subtracting; multiplying; and dividing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to follow both written, oral or diagram instructions and be able to effectively problem solve.
High school diploma.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
