About The Position
Schlouch Incorporated has been Eastern Pennsylvania’s leading commercial, public and residential site preparation specialist since 1983 and is still growing. The Concrete Finisher position will work to prep, form and finish concrete curb and some flat work on residential and commercial construction sites with-in a 70-mile radius of Reading, PA. Requirements
- Carpentry experience
- ADA knowledge
- Blueprint reading
- OSHA safety knowledge
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a crew
- Successfully pass pre-employment screening to include drug test and background check
Nice To Haves
- ACI Certifications are preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Pour, form, and finish slipform curb and flatwork (sidewalks, pads, etc.)
- Work safely every day by participating in daily safety huddles, identify hazards and apply the right P.P.E to the task
- Build concrete forms using hand/power tools (wood, steel, plastic)
- Interpret grade stakes and set string line for curb machine accurately
- Deliver quality craftsmanship on every job
- Working independently and as part of a team
