About The Position

This role involves performing various tasks related to concrete finishing, including form work, pouring, spreading, finishing, and applying treatments. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other tradespeople and must be able to handle materials and equipment safely. Requirements

• A valid government ID
• Reliable transportation
• Familiarity with proper handling of materials and equipment
• Able to lift and carry materials and tools weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and continuously over time
• Able to work in environments where temperatures and noise levels can fluctuate
• Near visual acuity to review written documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Sitting, standing, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, and kneeling

Responsibilities

• Checking and aligning forms, bolting, nailing, and blocking
• Facilitating concrete pouring
• Spreading, leveling, and smoothing the concrete using specialized equipment
• Using screeds to remove excess concrete and fill gaps, and molding expansion joints and edges
• Applying curing or surface treatments
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as engineers, electricians, plumbers, truck drivers, and operators.
