Concrete Finisher (seasonal or year round)
About The Position
Alyeska Builders is seeking experienced concrete professionals for a Concrete Finisher role. While the concrete season may slow in winter, the company strives to keep its team employed year-round through various construction tasks such as snow removal, mitigation work, demolition, and remodels. Seasonal work is also an option for those who prefer it. The role involves working on residential and commercial projects including foundations, sidewalks, patios, decorative concrete, and curbs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of concrete experience
- Experience forming, pouring, and finishing concrete
- Foundation and flatwork experience preferred
- Decorative concrete and other construction experience are a plus
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and team-first mentality

- Foundation and flatwork experience
- Decorative concrete and other construction experience
Responsibilities
- Building, setting, and stripping concrete forms
- Installing foam, vapor barrier, and rebar
- Preparing sites and surfaces for concrete placement
- Pouring, spreading, leveling, and finishing concrete
- Applying decorative finishes, sealants, and protective coatings
- Concrete grinding, floor preparation, and repair work
- Epoxy floor coatings and specialty applications
- Operating hand and power tools and working around equipment
- Inspecting completed work for quality
- Working alongside other trades on residential and commercial projects
- Maintaining clean, professional job sites and quality workmanship
