Requirements

  • Carpentry skills - Construct wooden forms
  • Placing and raking concrete
  • Installing wire mesh and rebar
  • Experience using laser levels
  • Concrete Finishing – Broom, Bull Float, Straight edge, Hand trowel
  • 1-2 years concrete experience in commercial or industrial setting
  • Ability to work effectively with all personality types
  • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Self-directed and can work independently
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Chauffeurs license
  • Precision grouting
  • Mechanical screeds IE: Truss, Roller, One-man powered screed
  • Walk behind or riding trowel experience
  • Grind and patch concrete
  • Early entry concrete saw
  • Aerial – Lift Operation – Boom Lift
  • Aerial – Lift Operation – Scissor Lift
  • Telehandler – Material handling

Responsibilities

  • Support apprentices, concrete laborers, Form carpenters, other Concrete finishers, and foreman on various projects
  • Follow instructions from foreman and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Keep the job site clean and well-organized
  • Handle the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards
  • Fuel and wash department vehicles
