About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Lead Wet Finisher to oversee the wet finishing process of precast concrete products. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has a keen eye for detail, and can lead a team to achieve consistent, high-quality results. The Lead Wet Finisher will play a critical role in ensuring the final finish meets both project specifications and our company’s high standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in concrete finishing, preferably in a precast environment.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a team in a production setting.
• Strong knowledge of concrete properties, curing methods, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on finishing work, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily wet finishing operations for precast concrete components.
• Ensure surfaces are finished to required smoothness, texture, and quality specifications.
• Mentor and train team members on proper finishing techniques and safety practices.
• Inspect and verify quality of finished products, addressing defects or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors to meet production schedules and prioritize workflow.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist in process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement.
