About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Finishers for projects located in or around Lufkin, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $26/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in Concrete Finishing
- Must be proficient with hand tools; trowels, floats, edgers, screeds and power finishing equipment
- Must be able to read and follow basic layout plans or supervisor direction
- Must have PPE including a hard hat, high visibility vest, safety glasses, gloves and boots
- Must have concrete finishing tools
Nice To Haves
- Flat-work and decorative/detail experience
- OSHA10; TI may provide qualified candidates
Responsibilities
- Site prep including grading, forming and layout support
- Pour, spreading and finishing concrete
- Performing hand and machine floating, edging and troweling
- Installing control joints and expansion joints
- Supporting installation of embedded features, obstacles, drains and borders
- Material handling
- Site clean up
- Other tasks as assigned
