About The Position
Fox Cities Builders is seeking a Concrete Estimator to prepare estimates and competitive bids for commercial, agricultural, and concrete projects. The role involves turning construction plans and specifications into accurate estimates and helping projects succeed from the outset. The estimator also supports pre-construction planning and project handoffs, contributing to projects that shape local communities.
Requirements
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivation and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Review construction plans and specifications.
- Prepare concrete quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Develop budgets and bid proposals.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs.
- Support pre-construction planning and project handoffs.
