About The Position

Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a ready-mix truck and deliver high-quality concrete products to customers. The role represents the company’s values through a focus on safety, quality, and exceptional customer service. Drivers coordinate with plant personnel and dispatch, verify delivery details, maintain equipment, complete required documentation, and support plant operations and team members as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B.
• Valid REAL ID in the state of residence.
• At least one year of CDL driving experience.
• At least 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina or 21 years of age for operations in Georgia.
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five years.
• No more than three moving violations within the past three years.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads for proper mix consistency and quality, including slump, texture, and color.
• Verify delivery instructions and job-site locations before departing the plant.
• Communicate with plant personnel and dispatch to coordinate deliveries.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Complete delivery tickets, logs, inspection reports, and other required paperwork.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Keep the truck clean and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed.
