About The Position

Precise Contractors is hiring experienced concrete cutting and coring technicians for work in the San Antonio, Texas area. The role involves operating a variety of concrete cutting and drilling equipment, pouring and finishing concrete, preparing and cleaning job sites, maintaining equipment, completing job documentation, and following safety procedures. Technicians must be able to work outdoors in extreme summer and winter temperatures, including long shifts, and may work at heights or in tight spaces. Compensation depends on experience.

Requirements

• Able to follow directions.
• Basic construction-site knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift more than 50 pounds and work outdoors, at heights, and in tight spaces.
• Motivated, positive attitude, and able to work well with others.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work early starts, overtime, and some weekends.
• Reliable phone.
• Must pass a drug screen; a background check is required for secured sites.
• Able to work long shifts in high summer temperatures and cold winter temperatures.

Nice To Haves

• One to five years of experience performing concrete cutting and coring work.
• Concrete cutting/coring experience.
• CDL.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform core drilling, including setting anchors, selecting bits, and maintaining required depth and diameter.
• Cut concrete using chainsaws for walls, openings, and deep or square-corner cuts.
• Use ring saws for walls, blocks, and tight areas.
• Use walk-behind saws for slabs, floors, and pavement.
• Use quickie saws (cut-off saws) to cut concrete, block, and pavers.
• Form, place, and finish poured concrete.
• Perform wall saw and hand saw cutting.
• Perform hammer drilling and chipping.
• Set up and lay out jobs, control slurry, and clean up using wet/dry vacuums.
• Load and unload equipment and perform basic upkeep of saws, blades, chains, and core rigs.
• Complete daily work logs and JHAs.
• Follow PPE, silica-control, and tie-off requirements when working at height.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
