About The Position

The Concrete Carpenter will be responsible for constructing and installing concrete formwork during the initial phases of construction projects. This role demands strong technical skills in carpentry and formwork assembly, the capability to read and interpret construction plans, and a dedication to safe and precise execution on site.

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of concrete form carpentry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with electrical, hand, power, layout, and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, erect, and install formwork using hand and power tools.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install forms, rebar, embeds, and anchor bolts.
  • Build both built-in-place and prefabricated wooden forms in accordance with project specifications.
  • Insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain specified dimensions.
  • Brace forms in place using nails, bolts, anchor bolts, steel cables, planks, and timber.
  • Install all items in accordance with applicable plans and specifications.
  • Assist in pouring concrete into finished forms.
  • Finish concrete surfaces to meet quality and design specifications.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, project rules, and OSHA standards.
  • Proactively identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and report them to supervision.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and working condition.
