About The Position

Constructs and repairs structural woodwork and equipment in yards and on industrial and commercial property. The role involves working with wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall, and using hand and power tools to repair and erect structures. Work takes place at construction and industrial sites and may involve changing outdoor weather, noise, dust, confined or cluttered areas, uneven surfaces, and access to elevated work areas.

Requirements

• May require a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous years of experience in the field or a related area.
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and a fit-for-duty medical examination.
• Must have required tools.
• Ability to move around a construction or industrial site and stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds; access equipment or work areas at heights that may exceed 200 feet.
• Ability to work in confined and cluttered places, on uneven surfaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
• Ability to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across a construction or industrial site.
