As a Concierge, you'll cultivate a profound understanding of our residents and their unique lifestyles. Building rapport with residents, their families, and visitors, you'll offer personalized assistance, ensuring everyone feels esteemed and assisted during their time with us. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicants
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Detailed-oriented and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff
  • Demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and professionalism in every interaction

Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally and diplomatically, responding to inquiries with strong problem-solving and complaint-resolution skills
  • Ensure issues are clearly documented and escalated appropriately when needed
  • Consistently deliver warm, high-quality customer service to residents, families, visitors, and team members
  • Create a welcoming first impression by greeting visitors, addressing their needs promptly, and guiding them confidently through mini-tours
  • Maintain accurate records and handle cash-related documentation with attention to detail
  • Provide dependable clerical and computer support to managers and adapt easily to administrative needs
