About The Position

Join our team in Aman New York, where the city’s original architectural splendour and Aman’s harmonious design language collide, reimagining the inimitable tranquillity of Aman in the heart of Manhattan’s midtown. The Concierge will assist guests with a wide scope of services and will also act as a liaison between the guest and other departments within the hotel. This position has an hourly compensation rate of $38.95 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years working as a hotel concierge at a related luxury hotel experience.
• Be a member of the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges.
• Must be able to read and write in English to facilitate the communication process.
• Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods during daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with requests including restaurant reservations, theater tickets, and limousine arrangements.
• Provide accurate directions and local recommendations.
• Respond to guest inquiries via desk, phone, text, or email.
• Ensure timely and professional handling of guest confirmations, packages, flowers, and mail.
• Maintain an accurate and high-quality database of guest profiles and preferences.
• Ensure all guest interactions are properly documented to support personalized service.
• Provide quality and genuine service by responding to guests and team members promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
• Follow up and follow through Ambassador of Aman New York in providing genuine care to guests and team members.
• Well-rounded hospitality professionals following the Aman New York pillars and values.
• Performs all Concierge assigned functions, preparing, and executing an ideal Aman New York Journey to guests.
• Liaison between departments.
