About The Position
Concierge (Full-Time) Starting Wage: $23.00 per hour InterContinental The Clement Monterey – Monterey, CA Schedule Requirements: Full-Time, Non-Exempt position. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs. Do you have a passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences? As a Concierge, you will serve as a key ambassador of our luxury hotel experience by providing personalized service, thoughtful recommendations, and exceptional guest care from arrival through departure. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in delivering world-class hospitality.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in hospitality or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Concierge or luxury guest service experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of Monterey Peninsula attractions, dining, and cultural experiences is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized guest services and recommendations for local dining, attractions, transportation, and entertainment.
- Assist guests with reservations, special requests, and transportation arrangements.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Front Office, Housekeeping, Bell Services, and other hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of hotel amenities, local events, and Monterey area attractions.
- Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special amenities.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, radio communication, and in person.
- Uphold InterContinental brand standards and deliver exceptional service at every guest interaction.
