About The Position
The Concierge will be responsible for providing a friendly and welcoming environment for our guests. The concierge will respond to a wide variety of guests' needs to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for our patrons. Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary to succeed in this role. The Concierge will assist with booking external amenities for guests, including transportation and Cabana rentals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or associate’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or Concierge for a similar-sized Resort preferred.
- Computer literate in the Microsoft Office Suite, fax machines, copiers, and scanners. Knowledge of Agilysys Software is a plus
- Must possess outstanding guest service skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with local area attractions helpful
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information
- Provided accurate information and assisted guests with needs such as directions, brochures, restaurant reservations, We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort, We-Ko-Pa Golf, Fort McDowell Adventures, etc.
- Must be friendly, welcoming, and service-oriented, exercising the ‘We-Ko-Pa Way.’
- Must have good organizational and communication skills
- Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution
- Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises, nearby venues, and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations.
- Cabana duties include reserving, taking deposits, preparing Cabana packets, and Cabana check-in.
- Assist Casino VIP Guests with check-in
- Assist at the Front Desk with guest check-in / check-out.
- Checks daily reports for upcoming Hotel packages, birthdays, anniversaries, or celebrations
- Prints weekly group resumes to be added to Front Desk Resume Book
- Arrange transportation for guests
- Assist guests with requests, such as flower delivery, birthday celebrations in the restaurant, etc.
- Follows department policies, procedures, and service standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to sit, stand, see, hear, stoop, twist, and walk
- Must be able to lift a minimum of thirty (30) pounds
