About The Position

The Concierge is responsible for providing excellent customer service to the Maumee Cancer Center patients, guests, visitors, and employees of the Cancer Center in a prompt, professional and friendly manner. The Concierge provides customers with general information about the Cancer Center, its services, and the surrounding area. The Concierge will also help patients in/out and to/from their cars. Assists patients with accessing the Patient Portal and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, patients, and other employees.
Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office and proficient using the computer and other required technologies.
Able to adapt to different working environments.
Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
Adheres to clinic’s policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

Training and has transfer belt, slide board, etc….needed to assist pts. out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, employees, and visitors to The Toledo Clinic and other services within the center. Discusses patient and center information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.
Maintains knowledge to perform the duties of the job. Assumes responsibility for performance of job duties in the safest possible manner, to assure personal safety and that of coworkers, and to report all preventable hazards and unsafe practices immediately to management.
Demonstrates self-directed learning.

Identifies and assists in resolution of problems related to safety, sanitation, and maintenance of the environment.
