About The Position

The Concierge is responsible for making reservations for future or in-house guests for dining, spa, golf, wellness activities, outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, trap shooting, etc., airline reservation, and transportation. They will also provide guests with daily hotel tours and access to the business center, and assist with guest check-in/out as needed. The role requires maintaining a working knowledge of all resort properties and onsite facilities, including hours of operation, daily activities, and area attractions, as well as a detailed knowledge of the history of Kohler and the assigned hotel. The Concierge will provide guests with information on hotel facilities and history, brochures on the hotel and local attractions, and fill the brochure rack when necessary. They will also provide directions and maps, including walking trails, city maps, or state maps, and inform guests of weather or road conditions. Additionally, the Concierge will inform room service of amenity deliveries, fill out necessary information, inform other shifts of daily activities through the concierge logbook or notes, and inform their supervisor of any problems or unusual circumstances.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hospitality/lodging experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to work holidays, nights and weekends.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local areas strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate written and verbally in English.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
