Part-time Concierge - Southport, Halifax, NS
About The Position
Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.5 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets. At this time, we are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Concierge to join our team on a part-time basis at Southport Apartments. The hours for this position will be Monday to Friday 4pm – 7pm plus on-call phone duties. Requirements
- Well-developed customer service skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
- Positive, honest, and motivated
Nice To Haves
- Previous concierge experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Greeting building tenants and guests
- Collecting rent
- Coordinating guest suites and common room bookings
- Ensuring lobby/entrance/common rooms are kept clean & tidy
- Conducting move in/move out inspections and getting units ready for re-rental
- Shared on call responsibilities
- Delivering notices and tenant correspondence
- Completion of administration work between building and head office
- Other duties as assigned
