Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate for the State of Florida.
  • At least one year of experience as Concierge or Front Desk.
  • At least one year of experience in security or at least one year’s experience in customer service.
  • Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License with a safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Emergency Medical Responder Training preferred (EMT, Paramedic, EMR, LPN, PN)

Responsibilities

  • Provide management and oversight of team operations (valet, concierge, EMT, transportation) in the absence of Director/ Assistant Director of Concierge Services.
  • Serve as communication contact between management and evening/weekend staff; provide accurate and timely communication to Director team as needed.
  • Serve as evening/weekend primary contact for processing incident reports (inclusive of employee injury reports and property incident reports).
  • Lead and direct team during evening/weekend emergencies.
  • Provide professional, efficient valet services to residents and guests. Help with packages, carts, etc., including the delivery of packages to residents’ unit.
  • Operate vehicles in a safe manner in accordance with all state and federal laws, wearing seat belt always. Park resident and guest vehicles in accordance with established valet procedures. Maintain proper key and security controls.
  • Aid in the event of an emergency call or when a resident calls the front desk for assistance. First to respond and assist and make the call for 911 if required. Use AED, Medical bag and 02. Provide reports for all emergency calls.
  • Assist residents and guests with vehicles as needed, i.e. assisting with battery charger, contacting AAA. Review vehicles for damage or maintenance issues.
  • Provide security patrols of SBC, parking lot areas and garage.
  • Be knowledgeable in facility’s emergency procedures and assist in emergency drills and issues.
  • Provide support to concierge staff as needed, including answering calls, delivering mail, packages, prescriptions, etc. Take work orders; in absence of maintenance staff, investigate work order requests and contact on-call maintenance if needed. Record events in daily log.
