About The Position

Private Medical is seeking an experienced RN to join their team in Los Angeles for a temporary, full-time assignment providing leave coverage for up to 9 months. The role involves practicing adult primary care nursing in a personable, non-hospital environment, focusing on deep patient relationships and high-quality care rather than volume or time constraints. The position requires a strong client service attitude, with a focus on being gracious, personable, and accommodating. The RN will work closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and other team members in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Active California RN license & BLS certification
• Minimum of three (3) years as an RN in a hospital or outpatient clinic
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to harness independence and autonomy, as well as work seamlessly as part of a team
• Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work after hours or on weekends, if necessary
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Sound clinical and personal judgment and professional demeanor
• Proven leader with a track record of providing extraordinary patient care and customer service
• Advanced computer literacy, primarily with Apple products

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class, comprehensive, customized nursing care to patients, including office appointments and house calls.
• Work closely with teams of doctors and patient care coordinators to ensure optimal patient health and satisfaction.
• Prepare for and execute all-inclusive visits to patients’ homes and offices.
• Perform blood draws, IV therapies, therapeutic phlebotomy, and routine and travel vaccinations.
• Correspond directly with patients to foster trust and reliability.
• Coordinate prescriptions and refills with pharmacies worldwide.
• Document all therapies, procedures, medications, and clinically relevant patient interactions in the electronic medical record.
