About The Position

Private Medical is seeking an experienced RN to practice adult primary care nursing in a personable, non-hospital environment. This role offers great patient interaction and close teamwork with physicians, fellow nurses, and other team members. The position emphasizes investing time in deep patient relationships, with success measured by the quality of care and high level of service, rather than volume or time. A great client service attitude – gracious, personable, and accommodating – is essential.

Requirements

• Active California RN license & BLS certification
• Minimum of three (3) years as an RN in a hospital or outpatient clinic
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to harness independence and autonomy, as well as work seamlessly as part of a team
• Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work after hours or on weekends, if necessary
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Sound clinical and personal judgment and professional demeanor
• Proven leader with track record of providing extraordinary patient care and customer service
• Advanced computer literacy, primarily with Apple products

Responsibilities

• Provide world class, comprehensive, customized nursing care to patients, including seeing patients in the office for appointments and doing house calls as needed.
• Work closely with teams of doctors and patient care coordinators to ensure best patient health and satisfaction outcomes.
• Prepare for and execute all-inclusive visits to patients’ homes and offices.
• Perform blood draws, IV therapies, therapeutic phlebotomy, and routine and travel vaccinations.
• Correspond directly with patients on a routine basis, fostering a relationship of trust and reliability.
• Coordinate prescriptions and refills with pharmacies worldwide.
• Document all therapies, procedures, medications, and clinically relevant patient interaction into the electronic medical record.
