About The Position
Tanque Verde Flea Market, Southern Arizona’s largest outdoor market, is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Concessions Team Members to join our growing Food and Beverage team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active, and being part of a lively weekend environment. Team members may work at different food and beverage stands throughout the market based on business needs, giving you the chance to learn new skills and gain experience in multiple areas. Whether you are taking orders, preparing food, serving drinks, or helping keep a stand stocked and organized, you will play an important role in creating a great experience for every guest.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Friendly, positive, and committed to excellent customer service.
- Dependable, punctual, and available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and work at different concession stands.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service, cashier, concessions, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive customer service.
- Take and accurately process food and beverage orders.
- Prepare, assemble, and serve food and drinks at assigned concession stands.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments.
- Count money and provide accurate change.
- Communicate special requests, order changes, and product shortages to team members.
- Restock food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies.
- Keep food preparation, service, and guest areas clean and organized.
- Resolve order concerns promptly and professionally.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
- Complete required Food Handler training.
- Support other concession stands and Food and Beverage operations as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
