About The Position

The Concessions Supervisor oversees daily food and beverage operations at RailRiders games and events held at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient service, maintaining quality standards, and providing an excellent fan experience. Key responsibilities include supervising and training concessions staff, managing inventory and cash handling, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and coordinating with management to achieve sales and operational goals. The supervisor will also handle customer concerns, support event setup and breakdown, and contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming concessions environment throughout the ballpark. This is a seasonal, part-time position with Legends Global, a premier partner to live events, venues, and brands.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling, and inventory management
• Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff effectively
• Strong customer service background with the ability to lead and train a team
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent customer service and guest-relations abilities with a fan-first mindset
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to train, motivate, and coach a diverse staff
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe handling procedures
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure during peak service times
• Flexibility to adapt to changing any operational needs
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, sun exposure, and other outdoor conditions

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in food service, concessions, hospitality, or retail operations
• Prior lead, supervisory, or key-holder experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (stadium, arena, restaurant)
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support concessions staff during games and special events to ensure smooth, efficient operations
• Train, coach, and motivate team members on customer service, food preparation, and safety procedures
• Ensure all concession stands comply with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Monitor product quality, portion control, and presentation standards
• Manage inventory and tracking food, beverage, and supply levels
• Oversee cash handling procedures, POS operations, and end-of-shift reconciliation
• Address and resolves guest questions or concerns promptly to enhance the fan experience
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of concession areas before and after events
• Enforce company policies, stadium rules, and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with management regarding staff needs, sales performance, and operational issues
• Assist with scheduling and adjusting staffing levels based on attendance and event demands
• Support overall ballpark operations as needed to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience
