About The Position

The Concessions Staff provides excellent customer service by knowing and understanding the products being sold at all concession stands. The staff is responsible for handling all transactions at the point of sale system and adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures. This role will pay an hourly rate of $16.00-$17.00.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
If not already certified, you must be willing to take ServSafe Alcohol training within 15 days of date of hire (at our expense).
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of heavy objects.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team.
Capable of working a flexible schedule and extended hours, including but not limited to working early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
The schedule is event-based and must be available for 90% of scheduled events, as well as some mandatory shifts.
Proven ability to work well with all levels of management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Enters and processes all sales via cash, debit, and credit card transactions using a cash register or other point of sale system in a retail environment with efficiency and accuracy.
Balance the cash register, making change, and recording purchases.
Serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Provides excellent customer service.
Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.
Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
Know and understand the products being served.
Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations and displays.
Ensures that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away, and the floor is swept and mopped at the end of the shift.
Checks out with Direct Supervisor and/or management to ensure the concession stand meets cleanliness standards.
Responsible for operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryolators, steamers, and ovens.
Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items.
Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Keep work area clean and stocked throughout shift.
Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
