We are seeking an experienced Concessions Food and Beverage Level Supervisor for the BC Place Stadium. Sodexo Live! is the Official Supplier of Food and Beverage Services to BC Place Stadium. BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Located at the north side of False Creek, it is owned and operated by the BC Pavilion Corporation, a Crown corporation of the province. Home to BC Lions, Vancouver White Caps, Concerts and Live events, the facility hosts welcomes hundreds of thousands of fans each year, while generating significant economic activity for the Province.

Requirements

  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight.
  • Must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned event day administrative paperwork.
  • Provide updates to the Operations Manager as per the timings outlined in their paperwork.
  • Update the OM as soon as any deficiencies are identified including equipment, stock, staffing, etc.
  • Address any customer or staff concerns in real time.
  • Ensure QUEST is being required followed at all times.
  • Ensure all staff (including Zones Supervisors) have signed all policies.
  • Ensures all staff have been appropriately briefed for that day's event.
  • Ensures all Health & Safety checks have been completed and any deficiencies have been reported to the OM.
  • Ensures all equipment is operational and food production has been started.
  • Ensures all stands have appropriate staffing levels and moves staff between stands as necessary.
  • Ensures all food production workers are aware of the cooking process and food safe requirements.
  • Ensures all stands are appropriately merchandised and visually ready for gates.
  • Ensure any new staff have been properly trained on their expected duties.
  • Follow up to ensure all policies are being followed and all food safe requirements are being maintained.
  • Ensure staff are checking inventory levels in preparation of half time/intermission.
  • Follow up with staff regarding half time/intermission production plans.
  • Ensure staff are completing their paperwork as required throughout the event.
  • Follow up on food production to ensure adequate levels are being maintained and no stands are running out of product.
  • Ensure merchandising and cleanliness are being maintained.
  • Review stand detailed cleaning at the end of each event.
  • Ensure Zone Paperwork is fully complete. This includes spot checking STL/HC paperwork to ensure completeness.
  • Make sure all equipment is turned off.
  • Follow up on merchandising standards and ensure FIFO is being followed.
  • Make sure all products are appropriately stored and secured.
  • Make sure all stand doors, fridges, cages, etc have been locked.
  • Provide event feedback to the Operations Manager in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
