About The Position

Responsible for assisting in administrating and enforcing contractual requirements, assessing Concessionaires' and Service Providers' compliance as specified in lease and Concessions contracts and the Concessions Handbook, policies and procedures as outlined by the Tenant Work Permit process, and GOAA policies, standard procedures, and operating directives. The Concessions Compliance Administrator assists the Assistant Vice President, Concessions, in preparing annual business review documents for the Vice President, Concessions and prepares reports related to the Concessions annual performance reviews, hours of operation tracking, Concessions-related social media mentions and customer survey subcategorizing, and other related reports as required by the Assistant Vice President, Concessions. Ensures all related concession operations are well staffed, clean, and safe at all times and that Concessionaires are in compliance with their agreements by completing frequent inspections. The Concessions Compliance Administrator will support almost every aspect of the Concessions department and will be responsible for a broad and diverse range of assignments.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree In Business Administration, Hospitality, Finance, or other related fields, and two (2) years of experience in food and beverage, retail, and/or hospitality with progressive responsibility or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in lease management or contract administration experience preferred.
  • Possess an understanding of food and beverage and/or retail operations and compliance as well as federal, state, and local rules and regulations affecting such operations and business principles and practices as they relate to the management of revenue-generating agreements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications and property management software to perform business, financial and operational analysis, prepare and make presentations
  • Knowledge and understanding of concessions and operations
  • Knowledge and understanding of contractual language, agreements, processes, and procedures
  • Must be able to interpret, define, and communicate the legal requirements of concession documents
  • Demonstrated ability to read and write commercial leases and concession agreements effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret local and federal regulations, certifications, registrations, licensing and operational procedures
  • Knowledge of standard space management practices and techniques to assist clients in developing space requirements; layouts, designs, and timetables for build-out of space
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, public presentation, and written skills and ability to effectively interact with domestic and international corporate customers, including legal, financial, professional, technical and non-technical individuals
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, organize, schedule and manage to completion multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to serve as the Aviation Authority’s liaison and tenant advocate to resolve conflicting interests and ensure optimal solutions acceptable to all parties in a timely manner
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment interacting regularly with corporate executives, local and federal officials
  • Ability to physically visit all tenant areas
  • Flexibility of schedule to visit tenant areas during non-standard work hours, which may include occasional holidays and weekends
  • Valid Florida driver’s license
