About The Position
The Concessions Bartender is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality beverage service to guests during the Valero Texas Open. This role operates in a high-volume, outdoor event environment and plays a key part in enhancing the overall guest experience while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and event standards. This role will pay an hourly rate of $9.00 and is tip eligible. This is a seasonal role from April 13th, 2026 and will end on August 13th, 2026. This position will remain open until July 10th, 2026.
Requirements
- Must meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
- Previous bartending, concessions, or event experience preferred.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, early mornings, and multi-day events.
- TABC or alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain).
Nice To Haves
- Previous bartending, concessions, or event experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company and event standards.
- Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws.
- Operate POS systems, handle cash/credit transactions, and maintain accurate cash control.
- Set up, maintain, and break down concession bar areas before, during, and after events.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption and address issues professionally and safely.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including outdoor/heat safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Collaborate with concessions, culinary, and operations teams to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to event policies, uniform standards, and service expectations.
