About The Position

This role is responsible for receiving liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom daily and replenishing these items at the bar throughout the shift. The position involves retrieving food and beverage items, setting up bar supplies, ensuring beer taps are functional, stocking snacks and napkins, and assisting with opening and closing duties. The Bar Back also buses tables, maintains the cleanliness of bar areas, removes rubbish, and prepares and serves beverages to assist the bartender. This is a role within Levy, a member of Compass Group USA, located at Bank of America Stadium.

Requirements

Must be able to retrieve all needed food items from kitchen and deliver to bar area.
Must be able to retrieve all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver to bar area.
Must be able to set up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
Must be able to ensure beer taps are working properly.
Must be able to place appropriate bar snacks on counter; keeps supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout shift.
Must be able to assist in opening and closing side work as assigned.
Must be able to bus tables in bar area.
Must be able to help ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
Must be able to ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
Must be able to prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist bartender.
Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Assists in opening and closing side work as assigned.
Buses tables in bar area.
Helps ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
Ensures rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist bartender.
Performs other duties as assigned.
