About The Position

This role involves selling concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events. The Concession Stand Worker will serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner, interact with customers, and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, relaying relevant information to a supervisor. The position requires performing sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion, entering sales into the cash register, making change, accepting acceptable forms of payment, and issuing receipts. The worker will be responsible for assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards. Additional duties include replenishing condiments and general supplies, maintaining the cleanliness of the concession area, and ensuring compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Requirements

Ability to sell concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events.
Ability to serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner following outlined steps of service.
Ability to interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Ability to perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion.
Ability to enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
Ability to make change, accept acceptable forms of payment and issue receipts to customers.
Ability to follow standard procedures for cash handling.
Ability to be responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
