About The Position
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Part Time Concessions Stand Worker at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts 01608. This is a part time, union, event-based position with no set hours or schedules. The role assists in concession operations in the facility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic working knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operations
- Must be ServSafe Certified (have alcohol service training)
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
- Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count money and make change quickly
- Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
- Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Hold a professional attitude and appearance
- Must be at least 18 years old
Responsibilities
- General cleaning and upkeep of stand
- Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned concession stand
- Performs location worker assignments
- Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees
- Plans for daily sales flow based on projections
- Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Concession Lead
- Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times
- Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage
- Performed other related duties as assigned by supervisor
