About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid Ohio driver's license
Serve Safe training or willingness to complete it
Ability to work effectively with others
Ability to make contacts with the public with tact and diplomacy
Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
Effective active listening skills
Organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Knowledge of various cooking procedures
Ability to estimate the amount of food needed
Perform basic computer skills as related to the position

Responsibilities

Assist the concession stand manager in the preparation, serving, and clean-up for each home varsity game, including playoff games.
Ensure the stadium concession stand is ready for use on event days.
Operate the register system and assist with banking deposits.
Maintain weekly records, balance weekly deposits, and perform inventory reports.
Itemize inventory of food on a weekly basis during sports seasons.
Balance the cash drawer at the end of a game.
Enforce health department regulations and administrative/Board policies.
Maintain orderly and clean work areas.
Prepare and serve food in an attractive manner.
Remain flexible to schedule changes and emergencies as directed by the concession stand manager.
Observe rules of cleanliness, dress, and grooming.
Unlock and prepare the concession stand for weekly routine.
Assist with all preparation for concession foods.
Assist in serving at the concession stand.
Assist in the clean-up of the concession stand.
Promote safe practices concerning food preparation, handling, and equipment usage.
Perform sanitation of the entire concession stand operation to avoid harm to customers.
Serve as a role model for students in responsible citizenship.
