About The Position
Staffs District concession stands in accordance with set rules and operating procedures. This is a seasonal position starting March 30th through October 12th, with varying hours including evening and weekend shifts. The mission of the Montrose Recreation District is fundamentally improving lives by building community in fun, engaging ways, and by providing excellent parks and recreation facilities, activities, and services.
Requirements
- Works under direct supervision of the Facility Leader-CRC.
- Must be knowledgeable about District rules pertaining to operation of the concession stand and State Health Department regulations that govern safe operation of food preparation.

Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves food and drink items to the public in an efficient and timely manner.
- Answers questions from the public and communicates with a friendly and helping demeanor.
- Collects daily receipts making accurate change for customers, takes inventory, restocks, and fills out appropriate forms.
- Operates cash box.
- Maintains all equipment, facilities, and fixtures in a clean and working condition and in accordance with public health standards.
- Reports any malfunctioning equipment or facility needs to supervisor.
- Is knowledgeable about District rules pertaining to operation of the concession stand and State Health Department regulations that govern safe operation of food preparation.
- Reports safety and health deficiencies to immediate supervisor.
