About The Position

The Senior Instructional Designer & Trainer (Bilingual) is responsible for the end-to-end creation and delivery of high-quality training programs. While this role focuses on the core execution of instructional design, we are looking for a forward-thinking professional who stays ahead of industry trends. You will be a collaborative partner to the training team, bringing fresh perspectives on how to leverage Generative AI and modern learning modalities to improve training efficiency, engagement, and adoption.

Requirements

  • Full professional fluency in English and French (written and verbal) is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with a strong understanding of adult learning theories and the ADDIE/SAM models.
  • Practical knowledge of how to apply Generative AI to streamline L&D workflows (e.g., content drafting, asset generation, or localization).
  • Mastery of Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) is required.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Vyond, Camtasia, etc.) with an interest in exploring AI-driven media tools.
  • Proven ability to partner with management to evolve training standards while maintaining operational stability.
  • Experience with major platforms such as Docebo, Cornerstone, or SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Agile or SAM (Successive Approximation Model) frameworks to design, develop, and implement instructional content in both English and French.
  • Proactively research and propose new tools, AI applications, and training modalities (e.g., interactive video, AI-assisted voiceovers, or rapid prototyping) to streamline L&D workflows and reduce production timelines.
  • Design training with a deep understanding of the learner's tolerance to change, ensuring navigation is intuitive and content respects the cognitive load of users adapting to new environments.
  • Create training for new tool and process launches that goes beyond "how-to" documentation to drive genuine excitement and user adoption across the company.
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions (virtual or in-person) that bridge the gap between technical requirements and practical application.
  • Analyze LMS completion data and performance analytics to report on training ROI and effectiveness to stakeholders.
