About The Position

Altitude Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Designer – In-Service Support to join a dynamic, flexible, and fast-growing company in Montreal. Founded in 2005, the ALTITUDE AEROSPACE Group is an engineering design office specializing in the development of new aircraft programs and the maintenance of existing aircraft fleets through its approvals (DAO Transport Canada, DOA EASA and FAA delegates). From engineering to certification, the group offers turnkey engineering solutions at all stages of the aircraft lifecycle, from design to in-service support, including the following activities: Product development (from design to certification), Aircraft modifications (STC, minor/major modifications), In-service engineering (24/7 AOG support, repair engineering and certification). A group of 3 small and medium-sized enterprises with a human scale, we employ over 150 engineers, spread across three sites: Montreal (Canada), Toulouse (France) and Portland (Oregon, USA). Requirements

• Diploma in mechanical/aerospace engineering or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 18 months of experience in aeronautical structural repairs
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 (2D and 3D)
• Proficiency in written and spoken French and English

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Challenger and Global aircraft
• Knowledge of aircraft documentation (AMM/IPC/SRM/NDTM...)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate structural damage
• Propose repair solutions compliant with industry regulations
• Write repair sheets or technical instructions
• Prepare design reports for certification purposes
