In your role as a Senior Computing Infrastructure Engineer, you will engage in full stack DevSecOps developer activities, apply automation tools and technologies in a CI/CD pipeline to improve speed to fleet and reduce manual process. You will participate in and lead computing infrastructure engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration and test in bare metal, and virtualized environments. You will interface with program and team leadership, to prioritize tasking, provide status and develop solutions to resolve any issues encountered. You will work on independent tasking within a collaborative team environment in a lab setting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience
  • Strong experience working in a Linux environment (preferably RedHat)
  • Experience with Git or GitLab, Jira, VMWare, and deploying a Linux operating environment in a virtualized environment
  • Experience working in a systems/software engineering environment, using agile tools and automation
  • Experience with REST API
  • Must be willing to work onsite, travel between multiple sites within the campus (5 mile radius), as well as be willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S DoD security clearance at the SECRET level - U.S. Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DevSecOps/DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, bash, python, Ansible
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and nontechnical staff
