About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Computing Infrastructure Systems Engineer. In this role, you will participate in computing infrastructure engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration and test of common infrastructure products in a DevOps CI/CD pipeline. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Python, REST API integration, as well as Git and Docker. Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent). Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance, and is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Data Science, or Computer Science.
Basic knowledge of C/C++, and/or Java.
Basic knowledge of Python.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Ansible.
Experience using scripting languages, such as Bash, or JavaScript.
Relevant coursework should include Software Engineering.
Basic knowledge of HTML, and/or CSS.
Experience working with large data sets, and managing data storage using tools like Pandas, and SQL.
Experience deploying environments using Docker.
Experience using git.
Experience deploying lean, agile web environments securely, using a variety of tools such as Django REST Framework, or Flask.
Experience with a variety of REST APIs.
