About The Position

Looking for part-time technicians to disconnect and reconnect computers at some of the largest tech companies in the US. This is a great way to get started in the tech industry and get experience. You will be required to disconnect computers and then reconnect them in the same manner they were disconnected. You will also be setting up new computers and installing monitors onto monitor arms on certain projects. Training will be provided. We are hiring for Desktop Relocation Technicians. Experience is preferred, but not required. Interviews will be done over the phone, video, and/or in-person.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to communicate well with your team supervisor
• Eager to learn and grow
• Able to lift 35+ pounds
• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the US
• Computer: 2 years (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Ability to Relocate: San Francisco Bay Area, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience is preferred, but not required.
• Windows/Mac: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Inventory current computer setups on provided inventory sheet
• Disconnect of IT equipment at user’s desks
• Reconnect of IT equipment at user’s desks
• Cable management of IT equipment using provided velcro
• Post-project shifts available to technicians able to work on Monday’s all day
• Possible installation of monitors onto monitor arms
