About The Position

Lake Superior College is hiring a full-time unlimited faculty member to teach computer systems networking, reporting to the Dean of Business and Industry, the instructor is responsible for preparing and teaching core Networking and Security courses that students complete as part of their required program. Courses will be taught in a face-to-face and on-line setting. Salary Range $50,475 - $73,690 per year The above salary range is for initial placement only. If currently teaching within Minnesota State, current salary will remain the same.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a computer or information technology field.
  • Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in networking, network administration, cybersecurity, or forensics.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
