About The Position

Teksouth is seeking a Computer Systems Engineer / Architect to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in a client-facing role within a Financial Management environment. This position focuses on application design, administration, and maintenance in support of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) systems.
The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing enterprise applications, automating business processes, and delivering data-driven insights through reporting and analytics. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to support mission-critical financial systems.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience designing and developing solutions to complex application problems
• Recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Oracle technologies such as Hyperion, Essbase, Oracle Planning and Budgeting, Oracle ADF, ODI, OBIEE/OAS, or related tools
• CompTIA Security+ certification required
• Strong understanding of application development, system integration, and data analytics
• Ability to communicate effectively in a client-facing environment

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise applications
• Perform application administration and ongoing system maintenance
• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and procedures for software solutions
• Automate business processes and improve system efficiency
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data analytics solutions
• Provide functional support, training, and user guidance
• Prepare and maintain system documentation and user guides
• Support PPBE system functionality within a financial management environment
• Collaborate with IT and functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities as required
