About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst III to analyze, design, and implement information systems in Perry, GA. This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. Requirements

  • 12+ years in the analysis and design of business applications on complex, large-scale systems, including experience in data base management concepts within the DoW environment.
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art storage and retrieval methods is required as well as the ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. A clearance will not be sponsored.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
  • Additional 6 years of experience, and a BA/BS, or additional 3 years and MA/MS/MBA may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within Army or DoW Integration, vehicle integration, vehicle maintenance, etc. is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaise with end users, hardware/software vendors, and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes.
  • Study computer systems, procedures, and design information systems solutions to help systems operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyze, design, and implement information systems.
