About The Position

SHC Federal is seeking a highly motivated Computer Systems Analyst to provide Tier II support to federal agency end users. This role involves supporting a 24/7/365 operation for a federal government agency, working directly with end-users to resolve technical issues related to devices and software, using advanced troubleshooting techniques, documenting resolutions, and utilizing remote access tools.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check and obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to work on-site in the Oklahoma City area.
• 6+ years of professional experience (or Bachelor’s degree plus 1+ years of experience).
• Experience with Microsoft/Windows operating systems including the MS Office suite of applications.
• Experience resolving software and hardware issues on end-user devices.
• Experience documenting ticket resolutions.
• Strong professionalism skills with ability to work with high-level government individuals.
• Strong written (email, chat) and verbal (phone, in-person) communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a CompTIA Security+ or similar certification within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• Existing DoD security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
• Existing (active) CompTIA SEC+ certification.
• Experience with remote desktop tools.

Responsibilities

• Support a 24/7/365 operation for a federal government agency.
• Work directly with end-users to resolve higher level technical issues related to devices (computers, phones, printers) and software.
• Use advanced troubleshooting techniques and technical knowledge.
• Document and record ticket resolutions.
• Use remote access tools to resolve technical issues remotely for users all around the country.
