About The Position
The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is seeking a Computer Specialist to provide post-go-live system support and stabilization for its hybrid architecture, which integrates Microsoft Azure Cloud, Power Platform, Synapse Analytics, and on-premises services. This role involves ensuring system stability, troubleshooting issues, managing payment processing operations, developing reporting solutions, and supporting system enhancements. The HEAP program aims to assist eligible low-income households in New York City with their heating and cooling needs to ensure a safe and healthy living environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure (Cloud & Hybrid Architecture) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Experience with Synapse Analytics and SQL Development (Advanced Queries, Stored Procedures, Optimization)
- Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL / Data Integration
- Experience with Real-time & Ad Hoc Reporting and Data Analysis & Data Validation
- Experience with System Monitoring & Performance Tuning and Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Experience with Security & Access Control and Financial Data Reconciliation
- Experience with Payment Processing Systems (PA/NPA, HEAP365, Autoheaters, SSI)
Responsibilities
- Provide Post-Go-Live System Support and Stabilization: Monitor production systems, identify and resolve system, data, and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and support performance tuning.
- Manage Payment Processing Operations: Execute monthly and annual payment processes, validate payment data, and troubleshoot payment processing issues.
- Develop and Deliver Reporting Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain reports, provide rapid turnaround for urgent reporting requests, and develop/optimize queries, dashboards, and data extracts.
- Support System Enhancements and Continuous Improvement: Analyze business requirements, implement system enhancements, perform testing and deployment of updates, and maintain/improve data flows.
- Maintain System Knowledge and Documentation: Document system architecture, data flows, and operational processes, and assist support teams in resolving technical issues.
