Our North American Industrial Process & Environmental group is searching for a Computer Science Intern to support our location in Salt Lake City, UT. The successful candidate will be able to perform the essential job functions listed below.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or completed a BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong interest in software development and programming
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (i.e. C++, Python, Matlab, Powershell, Javascript)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (i.e. SVN, Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Interfaces with internal customers
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks
  • Experience 0-1 yr

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or project experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of software applications or systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Support the testing and deployment of software solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Document development processes and code changes
